I'm not sure what that means, but it's the only thing I found to offer. I will remove my post.

Another way would be to, every once and a while, flag all (ctrl-A) and click Collection/Flagged/Set Locks and click Genres, probably twice. Once to flag all and one to unflag all. A round about, but a solution.

That's all I can come up with.

DVDProfiler launched, have you looked in Tools\Options\File Folders to see where each folder is? Also, look in wherever you installed DVDProfiler and make sure you have a Plugins folder with the plugins you are expecting to see. Just my 2 pennies which might not be worth much.

I used the latest version of BulkEdit and ran "Validate Flagged Profiles DiscIDs".

How do you do that? I've searched all over, and I can't find this feature anywhere.

My head hurts trying to decipher this stuff. I used the latest version of BulkEdit and ran "Validate Flagged Profiles DiscIDs". I have a list of 273 flagged DVDs. What do I do with this? Is there any way to get the correct discIDs? Is there any way to use tools to insure the discID read by my Blu-ray drive are correct or not.

One last question and then I will stop. What can I do to insure my discIDs are correct? If there isn't an answer, which there doesn't seem to be, I guess I will not contribute discIDs (for DVDs) anymore. I will just keep them local which will not give me updates to my current DVDs and DVD children that don't match what is in the online.

Thanks, I will continue to use AnyDVD and believe it's reports.

I guess I'll just keep using AnyDVD and submit alternate DVD versions based on my discID.

So which is correct with AnyDVD or without? I just want to get this right. It was my understanding that AnyDVD corrects the Windows 10 update 1809 thing.

I know this has been discussed before. For DVDs, does AnyDVD and Profile Contribution Assistant report the correct discIDs? I know AnyDVD reports the correct discID for BD discs, but my concern is DVD.

You might try "https://translate.google.com/" to see if it helps.

I paid $249.99 for The Skywalker Saga, all 9 episodes in 4K and BR; $34.99 for the 3D of The Force Awakens; $21.01 for the 3D of The Last Jedi; $21.98 for the 3D of The Rise of Skywalker for a total of $327.97. I also bought several versions of episode IV, V and VI over the years from DVD to BR, full screen to widescreen to extended editions ($??.??) and BRs of eipsode I, II and III ($??.??). I also have Rogue One in 3D for $24.99 and Solo in 4K $29.99 and 3D for $15.25. The Ewok Adventures for $9.99.

Last week I paid $39.99 for the very rare BR of The Abyss (Special Edition) with the Theatrical and Extended versions. I was worried that it would be the SD versions burned on BR, but upon watching it is actually HD. It does not have a UPC so I contributed it using the disc ID.
