Quote: In this case, the biggest question is whether an on set vfx supervisor is a valid credit and whether this is a credit we are really looking for. Indeed, and I tend to ignore those. So I would only enter the "Visual Effects Supervisor" credit, and leave it at that. But it's something that we're never going to reach a consensus on, I'm afraid... | Posted: Topic Replies: 19, Topic Views: 1556 |

I must have missed 'Bergerac' - I've added it to the list below. Leaving out the re-edited version of his 'Quatermass' TV series credit was a conscious decision, as I felt it was one and the same job. It's not as if he appeared in separate 'Quatermass' productions - it was just one job, but the result was marketed/sold in different ways. But if we really consider the edited version of this to be a separate credit, I have no problem adding it to the list. It doesn't seem likely that it'll affect the common name.

Quote: I was just wondering: [...] No, those are all name variants for titles that are already in the list. The whole idea of common name finding threads is that the raw CLT numbers include many name variants for one and the same acting job, especially on credits in TV shows. A common name-finding thread does an actual, "clean" title count. | Posted: Topic Replies: 14, Topic Views: 1099 |

Amazing! Submitting a new birth year into the database - which broke down around the same time - is still impossible, though. That's something I'd really like to have fixed as well. | Posted: Topic Replies: 85, Topic Views: 19340 |

Quoting ObiKen:
Quote: 1969???? I don't think Hollywood has stooped that low to be using 14 year-olds to executive produce a movie. Well, although her IMDb-page says her first "executive producer" credit was in 1983, 'Flashdance', she isn't actually credited as such in the actual film credits. The same goes for many other alledged producing credits listed on her IMDb-page. As of yet, it still seems she has only two titles in the database. She may very well have been involved in all of those other films, but except 'How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days' and 'The Out-of-Towners', there seem to be no actual on-screen credits qualifying for entry in DVD Profiler. But if she actually worked, in some capacity, on the production end of 'Flashdance' in 1983, then it's indeed very unlikely that she was 14 at the time. In that case, the previously documented 1953 birth year seems more fitting. Either way, even if we were to believe it's 1969, it's impossible to get that into the database right at the moment. For now, I'll stick with 1953. | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 6723 |

'Grace and Frankie: Season Two': David De Leon.

Quote: IMDB, and maybe other places, are reporting her Birth Year as 1969 now!
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0287080/
And now the OTHER Christine Peters has no Birth Year. Am I missing something?
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0676367/ As for the latter: we never knew what the birth year for the costume designer was, so nothing has changed there. If the producer's birth year now seems to be 1969, then I'd happily fix that, but the problem is that we currently cannot contribute new birth years into the database - and chances are that won't ever be fixed. So she's currently in the database as "Christine Peters (1953)", while "Christine Peters (1969)" cannot be submitted into the database... | Posted: Topic Replies: 6, Topic Views: 6723 |
