| Posted: | | | | Back when I first started using DVDP, I used to copy and paste a web link into the NOTES field that pointed to the movie trailer. Many of the links don't work anymore and I stopped adding the links awhile ago. Anyway, I would like to know if there is a way for me to globally clear all of the NOTES fields. I checked out the DVD copy/paste option but the NOTES isn't listed as an option. Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | PlugIn "BulkEdit" from the Download section | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | You can do it with BulkEdit. A couple of people have reported that BulkEdit does not install on Windows X64 systems. If you have this problem, please let me know. If you decide to try it, I can give you a step-wise procedure.
Ha, Lewis beat me to it again!
I have thought about a small plugin that would "quick clear" any field to its default value (flagged list). That would be even easier than BulkEdit. But it is not built yet.
Any Developer want to do it? (If not, I probably will someday).
Wait, does DB Query do this already? | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

| Posted: | | | | You should be able to do this without the BulkEdit plugin.
Copy a profile that has a blank notes field. Make sure your collection is not filtered in the General tab. If it is filtered click on the Clear All Filters button.
1) From the Menu select DVD -> Copy to copy the profile with a blank notes field. 2) From the Menu select Collection -> Flags -> Flag All Filtered (or Ctrl+A). 3) From the Menu select Collection -> Flagged ->Paste 4) From the Paste Profile Data popup window, ensure the Notes checkbox is checked and all other boxes are unchecked. 5) Click the OK button.
Now unflag all flag profiles, from the Menu select Collection -> Flags -> Unflag All (or Shift+Ctrl+U). | | | Last edited: by rdodolak |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks very much - that resolved the issue. The first time I tried that I didn't see the "Notes" option. Time to get my eyes checked! |

| Posted: | | | | In the future I will check poster's claims before I respond. I should have known the Notes checkbox was there. Sorry about that. | | | Thanks for your support.
