| Posted: | | | | I still got those Bugs, with the Sorting Problem and with Downloads. Sorting Problem: Sorting from High to Low is working fine, but when i want to see from low to high, there are all the childprofiles in the first place before the number 1 entry. On the desktop this works fine and the childprofiles without numbers stay inside their parent-profiles. Here are some screenshoots from the Galaxy S2: Sorted by descending: Sorted by ascending: http://www.ingo-cernohorsky.de/sonst/dvdprofiler/dvdprofiler_mobil4.png And here from the pc, sorted by ascending: http://www.ingo-cernohorsky.de/sonst/dvdprofiler/dvdprofiler_pc1.jpg Performance Problem I just bought a dvd and added it to the profiler on my pc, reassigned the numbers as always and uploaded it to the online collection. Then downloaded it to my laptop (less than 1 minute) and then started to download it to my smartphone. The Download on the Smartphone took 37 Minutes. I'm ussing Traffic-Monitor for monitoring the traffic and the profiler is always download about 450 MB when do those changes. New Problem: While downloading a collection (which takes very long, see above) i cant use my phone. If i press the home button to change to another app the dvdprofiler is stopping the download. If i switch back. its still on the updating database screen but not working anymore. I have to start the download again. Looks like it only works when its in the foreground. |

| Posted: | | | | with your sorting problem, under settings in the dvdp android, is " nest box sets" unchecked? That's what i get when it's unchecked. And the download problem, i get the same thing, if try to do anything else with my phone it stops the download, even if i get a text. | | | Last edited: by rp_63 |

I tried to update the collection today and haven't managed it over the whole day. After about 30 minutes theres always a connection error. Retry is never succesful... |

| Posted: | | | | What do you mean by reassigning the collection numbers? Only for that disc or for your whole collection? If you really do assign numbers for the compelte database, i suspect that all profiles get resynct as opposed to just the new one. |

| Posted: | | | | Depends on where to new movie is in the alphabet.
But why is a sync on a pc so much faster?
I do the changes on my desktop-pc. Upload the changes to the online-database.
The i start the sync on my laptop and on my smartphone. The laptop transfered on the last change about 2-3 mb, the smartphone 490mb. |

| Posted: | | | | I am not aware of a sync for two PCs. What i am aware off is the ability to share your database on your PC and connect with a different PC. I think this is faster, because you don't download the information to your second PC, only a small percentage of the profile (like title, collection number...) and the rest of the profile gets loaded when you access the profile. This however is just an assumption. Whereas the android sync copies every profile, completely to your phone. Including the covers in full size for every profile. Still 450 MB in 30 minutes seems slow if you only take the copying process into account, but i guess getting all that data into the databases tables will take some time too. | | | Last edited: by MiDiAN |

What is that option? Where to find? |

I that's the case, I was wondering if you would see a different result if you synced one at a time; i.e. sync the laptop and wait until it finishes and then sync the mobile device or vice versa. |
