| Posted: | | | | Is there a way to get DVDP to count the titles (box sets as one) and not disc's? I am having to change my disc storage system and would like to know for sure if the shelf's that I plan on using will work or not. | | | Growing older is mandatory...Growing up is optional... To do this I would have to manually change each box set in my collection which dates back to 1998 or maybe older which currently the disc count is close to 2800 (+/-) disc's, But will keep this in mind when I add new box sets in the future. | | | Growing older is mandatory...Growing up is optional... Thanks, Has this been tested with the latest release of DVDP as I see the last update was / is a few years old and read where other plug-ins quit working correctly? If this plug-in is working correctly.. my collection shrinks from 2800+ down to 1800+/-. once all the box sets are combined. (PS: I do use plug-in also by Mark Harrison's "CSVExport" with the Android app by "kitarolivier" [just wished he could get the cover view bug fixed & allow the data base to be stored on a removeable media card.) | | | Growing older is mandatory...Growing up is optional... | Posted: | | | | I don't know if it has been tested. I just got it working on my system (running Win 8 and DVD-P 3.8.2) and seen it could do the job you're looking for. My collection has 1808 discs and Database Query says I got 1540 boxes. I guess this could be correct regarding all my movie-boxsets. | | | | | | Last edited: by StaNDarD |

Edit one box set and set the Count As to 0. Close the edit scren and select DVD -> Copy Now flag all the box sets you have either with the mouse or the space bar. Select Collection -> Flagged -> Paste -> Count As | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Just FYI for anybody using BulkEdit, it gives Collection\Flags\Flag Box Sets. I do this by looking for any profile that has 1 or more children. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |
