I had an issue with it randomly creating phantom loaned entries (title field was blank and it reported it was loaned in 1899).
It seems to have been fixed by a clean reinstall on my new machine and restore of the backed up database. Maybe you should do the reinstall without deleting any folders first. If you have plugins, and don't restore the folders correctly, you will create more work for yourself. Here is what I would do: (1) Reboot PC - get a level playing field (2) Do NOT start DVD Profiler. Instead, go to the installation directory and run DVDProDBRepair.exe. (3) Now start DVD Profiler. (4) Run backup. If this works, continue, otherwise reinstall DVD Profiler. (5) Open a new database. Close DVD Profiler. (6) Open DVD Profiler (DB should be empty) (7) Restore from the backup (8) Refresh all profiles (9) Backup again This is overkill, but relatively safe and you should be good to go. Now you have a couple of opinions on how to proceed - decision is yours. Of course, we all wish you success. |
