Mine has just recently started doing this, it's hanging on profile updates now and when it times out it gives me an error about Socket Error 10054, or just times out and says connected at the very bottom of the profile update window.  Which i usually have to hit cancel then go back into the profile update and it will USUALLY resume from where it left off.  It seems like the server is dropping the connection during the update.  Any one else having this problem?

update, I just tried to look at my online collection and it's still trying to load it.  Seems like it may be a server issue.

I'm also getting this. The problem is it doesn't matter if I click on Retry or Cancel, both options just brings up the same dialog again in an infinite loop. Bug?

I spoke with our ISP this morning and they are aware of the issue (apparently a connectivity problem outside their network) and are working on it.

Thanks. But surely Cancel should still work, or should I force close the program with the task manager?

Are you still experiencing this?
AFAIK it was a temporary problem that should be solved now.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Try the following:

Windows Start Menu -> Run -> Type "cmd.exe"
In the now opening window type "ipconfig /flushdns" (Without inverted commas) and press "Enter"-key.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

This is still a problem. I've tried downloading my collection and keep getting this message. I've done a databse repair, used Alternative internet method etc. I have to shut down my computer to stop the problem - hitting Reset or Cancel does nothing.

This happens just about 90 % I reinstall this to a new computer   without fail.  Guess I'll wait till whatever doesn't connect connects.  Although usually I can login right off.  but just can't download the images  this one won't even let me login.  Finally found my login info and poof now that I did I get errors
