| Posted: | | | | Good evening, Sirs,
I just wondered how the contribution votes are ordered.
Not chronologically, not alphabetically. But how?
The only thing I figured out myself is that a vacuous looking for rate vote like "thx" is always uppermost.

| Posted: | | | | First No votes, then Yes votes. Within, those with comments at the beginning.
But how they ordered within those with no comments or those with comments?! Never had a sharper look at it. | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

FWIW a number of users, as part of the reason they stopped contributing, cited that they felt they were being taken for granted by people who never bothered and part of that was because they were never even thanked for their efforts by those people. Being polite and saying thank you in DVDP, like in real life, is free and some people like to show they appreciate the effort someone else has gone to by saying so NOT because they are looking for a Rating vote... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | I always thank someone if they take the time and effort to contribute to the database. I have done this even before invelos implemented the rating system and always will even if that system is moot. I don't thank someone hoping to get a green arrow...but I don't mind getting one either! |

I don't thank someone hoping to get a green arrow...but I don't mind getting one either! Ditto. If someone makes the effort, a fraction of a second to thank him is the least I can do. (And baskets of fruit could get expensive.) |
