| Posted: | | | | Going through some of the common name threads that didn't list the movies in the first post... I discovered some thing that I think would be helpful. When you go to filter on a cast or crew member name... you can't paste into the search field.
So if I copy a name from one of those threads (helpful when there are accents and such)... and go to paste it... the only options I get are View Tabs, View All Tabs and Clear all Filters. I would like to see a paste added to that list.
Thoughts? | | | Pete |

You should remember these. Cut, Copy & Paste (CTRL-C, X & V) are common throughout every Windows program where you can cut, copy or paste something. It's like "Windows 101". | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | But I am someone that always uses the mouse for such things... so why "should" I remember these? I mean I mean cut makes sense... but x and v for copy and paste? not something I would easily remember... especially when I use the mouse for all other programs. | | | Pete |

Quoting Addicted2DVD: Quote: I mean I mean cut makes sense... but x and v for copy and paste? C for copy and I guess X for cut because it kinda looks like scissors and then the V for paste because it's the key right next to it. If you are a keyboard worker like me you use these constantly with the left hand. The mouse marks the text and set the cursor and the keyboard does the short-cutting work. Personally I would hate to have to use the toolbar or worse the menu for this. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

Don't feel bad Pete - it is the same for me. I've heard of these shortcuts before but never remember them when it comes to using them. |

Actually, when you open the menu most of the programs actually show the the alternate short. Just open the Edit menu of your browser for example. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
