| Posted: | | | | I am just now learning what a pain it is to enter cast and crew data for a TV series. The main problem (particularly for an animated show which may use the same actor for different voices) is that there is currently no central way (other than editing the XML file) to reuse the entered data in a simple way. Copy a section and append that section for major cast that are in every episode, but what about everyone else that come and go at random? John is in episode 3, 9, 15; Jim in 3, 12, and 13; Kelly in half a dozen episodes, etc.
My request is similar to that of standard file copying: the ability to select an entry/name and role (or more than one using CTRL+[Left Click]), CTRL+C to copy, CTRL+P to paste, and all copied data appears at the bottom of the page.
Likewise, the ability to then select more than one entry at a time and move them simultaneously further up the list. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
