I setup a command file to upload my collection when I start DVD Profiler on my computer.  I really want to have my online collection always up to date in case I am out and about and find a good deal on DVDs/BluRays.

I've tried searching the forums to see what other people are doing, but the search feature doesn't seem to work too well.  It always times out.  I searched the site using google and didn't find much.

I was curious what others are doing to ensure their online collection is up to date?

I'm not concerned about keeping my online list updated since I do not add new DVD's regularly enough.

If I was concerned, though, I would create a macro to do the job (since I use around 40 of them already for other tasks). Wait until the program opens and compare previous file sizes to the new ones and if they differ continue with the process.

I did something similar to this for backups when I first started using Profiler.

I also don't know an automatic way for this.
I do always an upload before making an backup. (The time when you get reminded to make an backup can you change in the options)

I just remember to upload whenever I make a change... and also (when it's working) I have my PDA with DVDP Mobile which will be synced.

I upload right after I add a new title.  Since I do, I don't see any reason to automate the process on a daily basis.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
