Good Day, Sirs,

somewhat interested in purchasing the UK-releases, I read this on the back:

"Contains bleeped strong language"

How can one imagine it? How often does it *bleep* per minute? Are all three audio tracks *bleeping* or just the english? Did the original broadcasting also contain *bleeps*? *Bleeped* the US-release?

Love, *bleep*

Then I suggest purchasing the R2 Dutch releases.

On the back it says:
Parental advisory: Explicit Content  Warning: This program is recommended for mature audiences only. It contains adult language and situations.

No bleeping.

Did you verify this with your eyes or your ears?

I'm asking because, according to the Disc ID (25471576C666187C [SOUTH_PARK_S2_D1_EUR]), the Dutch and English and German discs are identical.

Is that so? Did South Park *bleep*? Or were we censored?

So far, I only watched the first season, and I can't remember any beeps in that season.

I'm currently almost in the middle of another TV show. As soon as I finish this one, I'll watch South Park Season 2, to confirm.

That appears to be right, only the second and the third season contain "bleeped strong language".

Don't be hasty. It would be nice, Sir. Especially if you could find out if we *bleep* just like the original broadcast respectively the US-releases.

If I remember correctly, and it has been a while, this is true.  The bleeps are part of the show, no actual words were bleeped out.

I own the US Box Sets up to Season 9 and all the language that can't be aired on TV is still bleeped.

(I mean in the episode where they say Sh*T 182 times it's still in because it was on TV) but every fu*k is still bleeped out..

Unlike Family Guy or American Dad where you get the uncut Versions on DVD...

Thank you for your informations, Sirs.

So South Park bleeped when aired on TV, and bleeped as US-release. I guess it's ok then when it also bleeps in the UK.

Watched 2 episodes so far. In episode 2, there are 2 bleeps, when the word f**k is used.

Yep, they still *bleep* it even on the DVD and Blu Ray Releases.. It adds to charme of the Show (In their opinion).. They even commented a few times on that in the commentary (Sorry I didn't already knew that in my last post but I watched a bit of South Park the last couple of days)..

To ask if the german language bleeped equally is too much to ask, so I do not expect an answer.

You've taken special trouble, Sir, thank you very much.

From the South Park FAQ, "The show is created with the bleeps, they're not added later."  That means no words were bleeped, they are there by design.

Wel, I just checked, and it appears no bleeps in the German audio track.

The Germans censored the bleeps away? Weird people.

That sounds like my people.

And it may sound funny, but if it's right what TheMadMartian cited ("no words were bleeped, they are there by design"), the Germans should equally bleep.

Whatever, ordered seasons 2 to 11, I very much look forward to the episode where they say 'scheiße' 182 times.
