Unless I'm overlooking something, there's right now no way to view a single list showcasing all DVDs in my collection where one particular individual is credited.

Let's take Clint Eastwood as an example.

I can either filter all movies where Eastwood is credited with acting work, or all movies in which he's done crew work.

I'd like to be able to create a list containing any DVD I have in which he's credited with doing anything.

Preferably a checkbox when I double-click on his name in an individual profile, but I'd take a modification to the filters as well.

I've never understood why we have two name databases, it would be great if when you brought up the Information window for a person, you saw all their work, not just acting or crew but both together (maybe have tabs within the window to keep it tidy).

Me neither, but it would indeed be great. Back when we were told that we should use birth years whenever we were faced with a cast and a crew member sharing the same name, I took that as a sign that at some point, cast and crew would cross-link. But it hasn't materialized yet.
