| Posted: | | | | Has anyone had trouble here at the Invelos site while using Firefox? When I use FF and click a link, there is a long delay while the status bar says it's "opening page from Invelos". The progress is very slow and appears to hang. If I click Stop and then reselect the link and repeat this a few times (as each click appears to stall), finally I can get through quickly on one of the clicks. If I use IE, I have no problems here and the site is speedy. When I use FF for other sites, they work fine. I only have the click delays here at Invelos. I've disabled add-ons, closed tabs, updated FF, updated java...no luck. I had this problem on my old computer running XP and have it on a new computer running Vista (made the switch in March). Any ideas? | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | I have a similar problem using FireFox. I also has this issue (but not as bad) when I was using netscape. In my case it not only tales "forever" but more often than not it actually never comes back. I can go to another site or two and come back to here and it takes me back into the login screen and then everything works for a while. It is almost like the site is logging me out after a very short time. Even if I click the "keep me logged in" box it still does this. Don't like IE so I haven't even tried it with this site. Maybe it will work itself out as Ken upgrades the site code.
Note: It did it to me while I was posting this response. Let's see if the second try is the charm. (Worked fine the second try.) | | | NightHawke Wherever I go, there I am!? | | | Last edited: by NightHawke |

I just sort of assumed it was random bandwidth issues with whatever routing there was between my home connection and the Invelos web site. |

| Posted: | | | | Which version? I've visited Invelos on three different computers on FF 2 without issue. The only thing I see is that the links have target="_new" when the standard has "_blank" for opening in a new window. |

| Posted: | | | | Could be that you have a Plug-Installed causing issues? I suggest you disable them all, try if browsing works better and re-enable them one after the other until you see the delay again... I'm usin FF3 as well and never have delays as you describe them... Edit: Forget my suggestion. I just saw you tried that already | | | Last edited: by detlefs |
