| Posted: | | | | I'm looking to get a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro phone. Download page of DVDPMobile say WM5 to operate, I guess a later version work just grejt, yes?
First sync/any sync: Can I select profiles identified in my collection by UPC and NOT sync/transfer Manual or disc id profiles (from owned list)? |

Actually, I know at least 2 SmartPhones that have touch screens , but they do not use WM5+, they use Symbios OS (or at least i think that was the name of the OS). Anyway... ... what about my second question, any one know the answer to that one? |

| Posted: | | | | The only way I know of is to flag the profiles in question as Adult and uncheck the sync setting to sync up Adult titles. |

Lets see if I got you right. You mean I need to set Adult genre on all my Manual and Disc Id profiles, then "flag" them somehow before sync? - I just tested File -> Sync... function and was surprised it downloaded the Profile List, then tried to upload my list online somewhere??? Obviously, it failed cuz I haven't purchased a licence yet, BUT I thought, DVDPM also included a local sync application. Does it not? I mean, I thought it synced directly with the device, does it not? Why the upload? Any info on how this works is appreciated | | | Last edited: by xyrano |

| Posted: | | | | In fact the synch tool is already include in DVD Profiler. When you buy DVD Profiler Mobile you receive a code as for DVD Profiler to unlock the limitation of 50 DVDs. To copy the profiles and covers on your mobile device, DVD Profiler use Activesync of Microsoft (used by all the application to make synchronisation on device running on Windows Mobile) or Mobile Device Center on Vista.
When you synchronize DVD Profiler Mobile you can choose if you want to copy your Owned, Ordered and Whished DVD and if you want to copy adult dvd. It copies all your profiles, even profile with manual ID.
For the profile list it's for the pre-released profiles because you can choose to synchronize these profiles on the Mobile version so you can see the profiles of pre-released DVD of the different countries you have selected. It's the only used of the online profile list. | | | Regards Cyrille | | | Last edited: by Cyrille |

... It is in this, hmm... form, panel or whatever (a screenshot exist on the download page), I would like to set some options not to sync Manual and/or Disc Id profiles. That would be more logical me thinks! | | | Last edited: by xyrano |

| Posted: | | | | I don't have my PDA on the hand so I can't start the synch tools... I don't remember if we can for example synch flagged profiles or an option of this style... I will check later and give you the answer. | | | Regards Cyrille |

You can only choose which tabs you wish to sync, Owned-Ordered-Wish List or all. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |
