Hello and sorry for my poor English.
Synchronizing is a very creative feature
In my region user names sound often like "Müller" or "Pérard"
Synchronizing adds this users without problems to the userlist on my PDA.
Borrow a DVD to one of this people with the PDA is OK.
But synchronizing with the  PC changes the special characters in the names and add a new user in the list.
Returning the DVD with the PDA re changes the characters in the unwanted new user name.

My configuration:

WinXP/pro/uk DVDprofiler 3.1.1 build 1171
WinMobile5/fr DVDprofiler mobile 1.1.0.122

SCREENDUMPS

Best regards,
jodili

How is this an Invelos problem ? IMHO this looks to be a conflict with character sets between your Desk Top version of Windows (UK) and your PDA's version of Windows (FR).

I do not believe it is a problem of Win(UK) and WIN(FR) . Both use the same ANSI-table.
The special characters change only when a DVD is borrowed an synchronized.
Look at my first 2 screen shots. No changes are made to the characters during sync.

Those A's are a surefire way to tell that there's a Unicode conversion failure going on.
