Yes, well I know MyTabs has been panned for slow speed and lack of complete integration, but I did make some adjustments to allow these filters (basically fixed some bugs - they should have worked before).

- ability to search "between" date fields (e,g between 2007-01-03 and 2007-06-07). Between colection numbers already available.
- if the "main" section of the tab filter is disabled, then MyTabs filtering starts with the filtered collection. So, you can do the power filtering with the main program, and then any minor additional filtering not yet available in the main program, using MyTabs. Then you just flag the results, copy the flags to the main collection and run reports or whatever based on main collection flagged items.

I know MyTabs is flawed, but I turn it on and use it when I need to, then I just turn it off (Tools/View Plugins) when I don't need it. Maybe it can help you until we get the real thing.

Edit: From 2007 is: Between 2007-01-01 and (leave blank), means "From 2007-01-01".
