Scanned Front and Back covers at 200dpi of an existing UPC that had "no" covers available. After completing the scans, DVD Profiler asked if I wanted to contribute now, I acknowledge.

After loging into the website, it returned the following message after uploading the images:
SRP denomination type is incorrect.

You should check the SRP in the profile and make sure the denomination of currency is matched to the locality. For US R1 profiles that would be the Dollar.

Some of the SRP denominations are wrong because the Profiles were submitted before the site automatically checked that they were correct and they got missed (especially likely if the SRP was being left at 0!).

As Kevin says, just check the SRP in the profile and match the Locality to the appropriate type of currency.

@Braciosaurus

I think you must have It looks like you may have checked the SRP box when you contributed.  Otherwise, the issue about the wrong SRP denomination would have never arisen.  But I think the SRP in your local profile shows the wrong denomination.

If you didn't mean to change the SRP, you shouldn't have checked the SRP box.

I have often made this mistake myself, to my embarrassment.

I think that if you only want to contibute covers you can do the contribution and not click ANY data fields so that only the images are contributed.  If I'm wrong about this, well then that's the way it SHOULD work.

No sir, you are indeed correct.  The checkbox for whether you want to contribute the cover images is just in a different place.  When you first select "Contribute DVD Profile" in Profiler, the first thing it asks you is if you want to contribute the cover images.  So if you check that box and click OK the covers are contributed regardless of selecting any other fields on the actual contribution screen.

This is not the way the system works. After you submit your updated profile the Invelos system checks against a list of common errors ( SRP not matching locality is one of them). Only after passing all of these checks do you get to the screen where you can select which fields you would like to contribute.

Ken has declined to give us a list of these checks as it is part of his system to keep 'bad' users from adding junk into the database.
