The title of this movie in the database is Esmeralda De Noche Vienes. But, on the cover Comes by Night is written below Esmeralda De Noche Vienes.
I’m thinking that this film’s title should be changed to Comes by Night and then put Esmeralda De Noche Vienes in the original title field. Is this correct? |

Looks like everything on that DVD is in two languages, including the overview (where the English version appears on the DVD Profiler entry). The DVD is a Mexican import and if you check the back cover the title appear in spanish in the copyright block. If you check at different webstore the DVD is sold using the 2 title, so I'm confuse. I could just Help you with this : The original Title are : Esmeralda De Noche Vienes and this are also the title on the sale cover. Esmeralda is written in pink while De Noche Vienes and it's translation Comes by Night are both written in blue. So it would be: Esmeralda Comes by Night (Esmeralda De Noche Vienes). (Please be right; I've spent too much time thinking about this! ) PS - I like the new invelos logo! |

Sorry than I can help you more This would fall under the foreign title rule: Foreign Films: The Original Title field will contain the original title for the main feature in the country of origin. i.e. A German DVD release for a film originally produced in the United States would have the German title in the Title field and the English title in the Original Title Field Since this is an R1, US DVD, release of a film produced in Mexico, the English title would go in the Title Field while the Spanish title would go in the Original Title Field. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
