| Posted: | | | | I thought I would check with everyone before submitting this profile. Bought the Futurama: Bender's Big Score DVD at Best Buy today, and it comes with an extra Bonus DVD, but has the same UPC code as the one in the Database. The Bonus DVD has it's own package much like the Warner Commemorative DVD's that wer profiled and came with many Warner TV releases. Should this get it's own profile, or not? | | | Chris |

| Posted: | | | | what does the bonus DVD contain? If it's supplementary material about Bender's Big Score then it won't get it's own profile as we don't profile bonus discs. It would be added to the main profile as a 2nd disc. But if it contains material about the series Futurama in general, then we are allowed to profile those. |

The only problem with adding it to the current profile for the movie, is that the Best Buy Version that has the bonus disc has the same UPC as all the others available elsewhere that don't have the extra disc. | | | Chris |

| Posted: | | | | Oh I see. In that case, how about you change the UPC profile to use the main disc's ID instead. Then add the 2nd disc and add it to the database as a "Best Buy Exclusive"? Would that work? |

| Posted: | | | | If it's the same UPC as all versions then shouldn't it be added by disc id? I have child profiles for all my Best Buy bonus discs which are seperate as not everyone has them with their feature, so they can't be submitted to the main profile. I just add the bonus discs as box set content to the main profile. |

| Posted: | | | | That is another option, but isn't that technically against the rules as we're not supposed to profile bonus discs unless they cover multiple titles? However, if this is a common occurrence (the Best Buy releases) and all the others have been done that way, I see no harm. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

I haven't profiled a single on yet because they are usually aimed towards that particular release. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. All my bonus discs I popped in the drive and found an existing profile for, so they all got submitted even though they most are towards a single movie/release. Guess they're O.K. and a matter of preference. Before I put them in I had set the disc id locally on the main profile, now they're kids. |
