I am not sure if this is the right place to ask about this ... but here goes.

When you are contributing a DVD ... you have a pull down window in basic information that lets you choose if the DVD is a COLLECTOR'S EDITON ... SPECIAL EDITION ... etc etc (if it applies).

Why is there not a SPECIAL COLLECTOR'S EDITION like I see on some of the covers?

At this point I would not know which one to use ...

This is an editable field.

Simply enter 'Special Collector's Edition'

Agree with hal, just enter it.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

OK ... I tried that and it did indeed let you manually put that in ...

Here is my dilemna ...

I was trying to correct just that part of the title and upload it ... but it would not show up online. All it would let me do is put a tic next to cast as a change. Nowhere did the title show up.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Can anyone enlighten me as to how to do that?

UPDATE: I just tried another DVD ... Casual Sex? ... and I added WIDESCREEN to edition and uploaded it and it worked. Not sure what happend when I tried to do the other one.

I guess I am okay at this point.

Thank you.

If the online database already had "Special Collector's Edition" in that filed, then it would not have shown up as a "difference" when you went to contribute it.

That's the only thing I can think of.

Are you sure you had the most up to date profile in your database?
It's possible that the online database had already been updated to show the correct edition, but you simply hadn't downloaded it into your local database.
