http://www.invelos.com/Database.aspx?task=evaluate&id=427468

the original person who submited the profle has voted no
on the updatd images as there is no upc

his pictures are very poor quality grabbed off the net (also no upc)
it comes as a boxed set

i took the time to scan them and its slightly annoying when someone votes no when the original scans
are so poor

they look realy bad in dvd profiler

I do not own this box, therefore I cannot evaluate the pics. But if there is definitely no UPC on the box, the no-voter made obviously an error.
You could withdraw your contribution and re-contribute including adjusted notes, concerning the missing UPC. This may avoid further no-votes.

It's not possible to see the evaluation page of profiles I do not own! (You get an error message)

You no longer need to withdraw your submission to do this. You are now allowed to edit your contribution notes to add more info if you feel it's necessary.

One no vote (even if it's the only vote) doesn't mean the contribution will get rejected.

When the screener see the difference your covers should be approved.

I would suggest editing your notes to explain why there is no UPC though.

It does seem very daft to vote no on a cover submission on the basis that there's no UPC, especially when you can tell there was no UPC on the low quality originals!
But Rick's right, a no vote doesn't mean an automatic rejection, however I would follow his advice and add to your notes explaining why there's no UPC - just in case!

Yes I know that, but without re-submitting you may not get rid of this annoying no-vote.
Some voters only look at the first vote and behave like lemmings!

I disagree Rick, I really question how some titles are judged and wonder if the screeners actually look every time. I just had a 40-1 yes votes on an image contribution, and it was declined

Yes the screeners look, every time.  Bear in mind that image contributions need to pass the 'significant improvement' test.  This is not the job of the voters, but the job of the Invelos evaluators, so sometimes (rarely) high positive image votes will still be declined.

I'm one of those who had vote "yes" for your scan and I didn't realize that they were not approve. I grab them from your collection, so they were not make for nothing since they are an improvment for me.

No problems - go HERE search for the title, click on the front scan to get the high res image, copy and paste to your dvdprofiler, and repeat for the rear scan

A bit of advice I can give on scans, is to be specific about what is better about it, especially if the scan is already a high rez scan. Point out specific things that can be seen as improvements. If you say something like "Improved cover scan, notice in the bottom left hand corner you can now read the text..." This will improve your chances of it being seen as a significant change.
