Apologies if I muddied the waters with that "made the film" comment.
It can be a very complicated business working out the CoO for a film, especially now that the film industry is so multi-national, partly to spread the huge budgets involved (and sometimes to exploit certain countries' tax benefits!).
I hate to think that you'll vote yes now because you've "given up". I'd like to think you'd vote yes because you now understand that we use different criteria to the AFI and so sometimes will get a different result.
And I hope you don't think I've been badgering you. It's just been refreshing to have a 4 page debate that hasn't (so far) descended into insults!

Skip Alert!

Butler what the hell comment is that. At least I don't sleepwalk through the vote process and vote YES on near everything even if it blatantly is against the Rules...like someone else I know. I hadn't even said a word in this thread and still I get insulted. You, sir are a total....no I won't say it.

the only 100% correct thing is to have 2 CoO

We need a minimum of 3 (better 4).

I've seen a film with 5 countries involved!!!

HEhe yes Skip I found that remark to be insulting and totally of the mark in regards to what i was asking. And the general attitude here was "Aww here we go again" and other nice variants.

but remember all I will vote Yes or Neutral to this untill we get another soulution in the DB.
