When you want to add an actor / crew member, the list is sorted with the standard "sort key" (e. g. "Sean Connery" is sorted like "Connery, Sean", but shown as "Sean Connery" in the list.

This is not very cool, because you have to scroll the whole list (more than thousands of names) if you don't want to use the search option (search field or F3).

Could it be possible to :

allow the sort method ("First + last" or "last + first")

allow an automatic reposit in this list, like in windows (tm)

I explain this :
When I want to find "Connery" I type "c" "o" "n" "n", and I never get "Connery", because the typed keys are searching the first name, and not the lastname.

I get "Sean Connery" by typing the firstname, and the list gives me all the "Sean" before "Sean Connery").

I noticed something else.

Because of this sorting, I use often the "Add an actor" button. If this actor already exists in the list, there is a warning window.
Could it be possible to reposit the list on this existing entry ?
