Just out of curiosity:

Referring to the Disc-level Profiles part

I've got a (metal) box containing an entire TV show (5 seasons). The box has an UPC. The seperatly packed seasons don't.

Which profile does get the disc ID as ID? The season or the disc itself?

Acording to the rules, it's treated as a box set and those only have Disc ID's for the individule discs and not the top-level profile.

If I read you correctly, based on the 'Complete TV Series ' note at the bottom of that page, you would have 6 profiles.  1 for the parent and 1 each, 5 total, for each season of the show.  The disc ID for the first disc of each season would be used for that child profile.

Not ideal, but that is how I read the rules for this particular configuration.

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.

We will teach it to them again.

What you could do is use the EAN/UPC for the main box, then add the individual disc's under Disc ID so that when GrandChild profiling comes in (If) you would not have to re-do them all again. But make up a season profile locally to hold the child profiles into seasons.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Yes your right about now having Grandchildren profiles, but they can't be submitted in a way that Karsten is implying.

Sorry about that earlier feeling a bit under the weather at the moment, medication playing up.
