I also ask because a new contribute was declined stating no source for changes. how do you change somethign that is not already there? | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

| Posted: | | | | Well, if you want to get technical... if you're making a new contribution that didn't exist before, you are changing something, right? Anyway, yes starting a few months ago, all contributions require Notes to document what you are doing. Even if it's a brand new contribution, you still need to document where the info came from so it's there in the Notes for everyone to read before modifying it. It's not stated in the Rules themselves (as of yet) but it is clearly stated on the Contribution page when you are submitting a profile, which essentially makes it part of the rules. | | | "Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men" - Douglas Bader "A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools." - Douglas Adams |

See HereIt's been around as Vega, Katatonia and Unicus69 have stated for a few months now, and if you look at the thread headers between that thread and this one you will see that there have been quite a few different threads started in response to it.
