The rules say:
--------------------------------------
Create each of these individual profiles in line with the standard Contribution Rules with one exception - Cover Images. If a film is individually packaged, use the cover images from that packaging.
---------------------------------------

But what do I scan if there is no inndividually packaged film? The Cover of the whole Set, the Booklet, the disc in the tray (e.g. A Better Tomorrow Disc-ID: 0B40F93B04FEEF04)

For the online you are to submit the cover from the set for each profile. Not very exciting I know but it keeps people from selecting what they think it should be.

Personally I scan pics of the booklet or others pics (like the cases where the box keeps unfolding over and over)

Personally, I prefer scans of each disc if the disc has nice artwork on it.  Of course, I can only use these locally.

What I like to do, for my local database, when each disc doesn't have it's own cover art, is use the cover art from the standalone version (when possible) for the front, and the box set cover for the back image.

If there isn't a standalone version of the DVD available, I try to do a GIS for the original movie poster art.

Just my $0.02
