I've got the Server Busy message when posting, contributing etc, every time i just hit the back button and nothings lost. At least in Opera. Sometimes that works, sometimes it don't. Invariably, when it doesn't, its a post I spent some time composing. Grrrr! | | | John

| Posted: | | | | I seem to get the Server busy message almost every second time I enter anything . Everything is also very slow . It is getting frustrating , but I guess we were warned , and once the maintenance is done things will be better. | | | <---------Mithrandir, Laverne and Shirley Caroline |

| Posted: | | | | Before posting a big reply on any web site (and as I'm composing it thanks to accidently hitting ESC one too many times), I hit CTRL-A to highlight everything I've done so far and then CTRL-C to copy it into the copy-n-psate buffer.

I use Firefox and just hit the backspace key and "most of the time" the text is there... so as was originally stated, I have gotten into the habit of copying text before hitting the submit or preview buttons. Actually, I have been doing this for quite a long time as my experience has shown that this is a rather common problem with lots of forum software or the servers they are on... maybe it is just the forums I visit too. |
