| Posted: | | | | All the online cover images are 700 pixels by 500 pixels or smaller. Your Dell 4K monitor has a resolution of 3860 pixels by 2160 pixels, which means that a DVD Profiler cover images takes up, at most, about 4.2% of the screen at native size. If you increase the size of the cover image on your screen it will get blurrier as the data to make it sharp just isn't there.
You can do two things to improve this problem. The first is to scan your own images at a higher resolution so they can be large and still sharp. The second is to replace your 4K monitor with a 1920x1080 HD monitor (or lower the resolution of your current monitor, though this isn't very satisfactory, IMO) so that the images will take up a larger percentage of the screen (almost 16.9% as opposed to the 4.2% you have now).
I know a lot of people who "upgraded" to a 4K computer monitor who were dismayed that they got tiny text and icons instead of just a sharper image.

| Posted: | | | | Sounds like a "HiResCovers" plugin waiting to happen. You can even trick Profiler into backing them up for you. Wish I had the time. Would be an easy plugin for somebody who wants to take a shot at writing a plugin. You'd get lots of help from the rest of us, I'm sure. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
