The title really describes the issue. Tools>Utilities>My Links Launch Program should be an option, however, the button is greyed out.
Does anyone have any insight?
Rebuilding indexes etc. has no effect.

Not sure what "etc" things you tried, but maybe reloading the layout? Or resetting the menus?

I don't recall ever using that utility, so I don't know what it does. It is also greyed out on my system.

Of course to set up My Links, it is Online > My Links > Edit ...
Thanks for your support.

.

That was one on the etc.s and tried cancelling all options set in the menu. Neither worked.

I'm trying to change the default program the comes up on the trailer button for my own trailers (*.mpgs, *.movs). It says to use the greyed-out button under utilities.

Since you know what you are reading, I won't spend time searching. But if you want to point me to it, I'm happy to read it along with you, as another pair of eyes. Meanwhile, maybe you could try using the Windows File Association to change the program that is launched on double click of the file - maybe that will work.
Thanks for your support.

That was the conclusion I was coming to also.
Thanks for trying.

Huh? I thought I just offered a solution. And why wouldn't you show me what you are reading? It really is annoying, and happens all too often that people ask for help, then don't share enough info with the helper, then unexpectedly quit.
