Plot:
Andy Barclay has been placed in a foster home after the tragic events of the first film, since his mother was committed. My Thoughts:
Another decent one. Decided to watch one more before bed. This one kinda started where the first one finished. The story continues from the first movie, decent story here aswell. A bit more good moments here tho. And the creepy doll just gets more creepier. Kinda liked what they did with this one. And with how things ended, i'm looking forward to check out the next one maby tomorrow or something.

My Thoughts:
I thought this would be a fun way to start my Horror/Halloween marathon. This is one I find to be a little more on the silly side then actually frightening. But I believe that is what William Castle was going for. A silly, spooky story. Though obviously the spookiness does not hold up in today's day and age. But it till makes for an enjoyable viewing experience. I would say it is definitely worth the time put in to watch it.

My Thoughts:
Another classic. This one I found much more interesting.... and a film that takes itself much more seriously. In most movies I find the fact that it is in black and white to be of no matter what so ever. But for some reason in this case it feels as if the fact that it is in black and white actually adds to the enjoyment of the film. It is a good story line that moves rather quickly. It is one I would recommend checking out.

My Thoughts:
So, i've used the weekend good so far. Gotten a few movies in. Going in to this one, i thought i would remember a bit more from it. But i didnt. Alot of scenes and spots i didnt remember. Wich is a good thing ofc. In this one they have kinda switched the roles, and decide to target the girls\women instead of the boys. And the movie has some good nasty moments. Again Tarantino loves his blood and nasty parts. And i know its only a movie and all are actors\actresses. But whats wrong with people really? Some sick ones out there. So i guess all that makes for a good horror movie. And this bluray got alot more extras, some deleted scenes and blooperes. Great.

My Thoughts:
This is one of the first classic monster movies I ever seen.... and definitely one of my favorites. I love this movie! I especially like how well done the Wolf Man makeup is done. Especially considering the age of this movie. Lon Chaney, Jr. did an awesome job at playing both the tortured soul of Larry Talbot as well as The Wolf Man. And even though is only a small part I enjoyed Bela Lugosi as Bela, the gypsy. This is a movie I have watched many times... and sure I will continue to enjoy many more times to come.

When this film first appeared in theaters a skeleton would appear in the theater at a key moment in the film. Eventually filmgoers got wise to the skeleton and began pelting it with candy. Even without the gimicks, The House on Hauntd Hill is spooky good fun. Watch if if you dare...

My Thoughts:
What is an October marathon without Vincent Price? And this is one of my favorites. Sure it has it's share of campiness but what Willaim Castle film does not? While the entire cast did a good job... I especially enjoyed (of course) Vincent Price as well as Elisha Cook. This one has a great story line... the setting fits perfectly. This is definitely one I would recommend.

Wow...what did I just watch? Bad, over-exaggerated gore effects....bad acting... and a story line that needed work. It felt like I was watching a Japanese Troma film. But to be honest... it is about what I expected from the trailer. This is not one I would recommend to anyone.

My Thoughts:
Granted this one is for the fans of the books and TV series. for me it is a lot of nostalgia of watching the TV episodes with my daughter. I really enjoyed this film...and love the fact that I got to watch this one with my daughter since we enjoyed watching the series so much when she was a kid. I think they did a good job at bringing a lot of the characters from the series to film. Jack Black has always been hit and miss for me... but I really liked him playing R. L. Stine. I found this one well worth the time put in to watch it... but I don't see people enjoying this one if they don't know the books or TV series.
