| Posted: | | | | Even I am starting to feel the pull of the competition.
When Ken and others start posting strange codes for us to decipher?
Fun for some, but I am a retired guy taking care of not one, but two handicapped kids.
Cracking codes to find out when something I have to pay for is kind of ridiculous.
I am Ken's Biggest Fan and I am guessing that an iPad Version is coming soon...
But it has been coming soon for a really long time now.
Read in the forums, coming soon since like last April.
But Crack the code and you can get a weird message that is still misleading?
Is Ken so mad at us that it has come to this? |

saying the PC is optional by the end of the month if you have an iphone/itouch or ipad seems very clear to me. Not sure why you can't understand what it means? Although I do agree with you that you are a horses arse if you can't give a normal text update like anyone else instead of making people search the internet. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Either way I am now eagerly awaiting the release of the app to us on both my iPhone and iPad.
Any idea of the price yet please Ken. |

| Posted: | | | | Oh, I understood the code, but to simply come on and write it would have been a bit of a time saver... |

| Posted: | | | | as regards price - if it's designed to replace the PC version (this not being required) - then it would be about the same cost as the Pc version I guess.
$30 ??
No idea how much the competition is? | | | Paul | | | Last edited: by pauls42 |

| Posted: | | | | I'm sorry, there's no way I'm spending $30 for a Iphone version. That's way too expensive for the app store. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm wondering if it's a full port of the app and if it supports linked databases. I'm suspecting so.
If it can do everything the PC version can do, $30 is more than reasonable. In essence, it would be a companion/standalone app. |

I can't see how it would support more than 1 database - and this would have to be on the Ipod itself as well as the PC I would have thought. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | There are some things that are best suited to a desktop app, such as full profile editing. So for the prolific contributors out there, the desktop version will still get plenty of use. For others, I think some will find they use it infrequently, or even as a server/backup only.
The price will be under $10, for a universal iPad/iPod/iPhone application. It does support multiple databases, which can be either linked with a desktop database or completely standalone. So, for those new to DVD Profiler, that's all they need to purchase.
Of course those with the desktop version will find some extra abilities, but I'll leave that for the official feature list release. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |
