Well, maybe sometimes I do have a problem -- like if someone changes either one to hide who he/she really is. Trolls come to mind. I just wish we had some sort of cross walk to let us know that we're reading posts from someone we know not someone totally new. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. Kindergarten is getting angry because of a harmless or satiric joke, instead just smiling about it. Harmless is in the eye of the beholder so, speaking for myself, I do my best not to make a joke at someone else's expense as they may not see the humor in it. Satire is a literary technique of writing which principally ridicules its subject. I don't know anybody that enjoys being ridiculed. When you make a joke at another's expense, which Taro did, you can't be surprised when they don't think it is funny. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | It took me years to find a proper avatar to fit my user name (which I've only changed once and that was to this current one) and that involved taking a screen cap of of Bugs Bunny in the only scene where he was both standing still and no other characters visible. So it's never going to change.
Since the initial forum handle matches your account ID, it's a good idea to change it. Can't hack something nobody knows. |

| Posted: | | | | I don't change mine often since I used only two names on the net : AESP_pres who means nothing for anyone except me or my real mame (complete or just my first name or one of them with an initial). The picture, I try to not change it too often since I recognize the user from his/her avatar first and I suppose it's the same for most people.
Anyway if someone like to change his/her screen name it's none of my bussiness... |
