I've contributed a bunch of Italian DVDs credited thusly and all have been approved. Regarding the Notes, I'm a longtime user and still get confused when confronted with an Original Screenplay that is credited as Screenplay. Which column to follow? The notes for Writer and Screenwriter either need to be eliminated or clarified. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

Quote: They are not a source of confusion for me, gard, now if people will listen instead of arguing it won't be for them either. Of course it's not a source of confusion for you. You've got time and experience here. New people here and those with less experience who read and try to follow the rules can be confused by the notes which can contradict the expected use for the roles. It is not that Skip has 'time and experience' here. He reads it the way he wants to. It is clear to all that stop to read what is stated in the notes that they would override 'as credited'. But Skip and many others somehow feel that 'as credited' overrides the notes. The easy fix would be to remove the notes, they don't add anything other than confusion! I have no problem with 'as credited' in this case, my problem is with the notes! pdf | | | Paul Francis San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA |

| Posted: | | | | I don't read it the way I want to, Paul. YOU weren't involved in the Rule process, if anyone is reading what they want it is you. I have the benefit of involvement and also understand intent, though you want to believe otherwise.
Gard has it dead on correct.

This is good to know for movies with Italian credits - the movie in question here have English credits, and should therefor be credited exactly as it appears (in my honest opinion). | | | Berak

I vote according to the rules, not according to interpretations of the rules by users in the forums. wrong |

pdf You are correct. The note, in this case, does nothing but confuse the issue. Anybody that claims otherwise is fooling themselves. Ken needs to remove the notes and change the wording of the rule, as it refers to the "Film Credits to Include" column, which does not exist. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
