| Posted: | | | | Possibly a stupid a question but:
The titles you want to add as child-profiles are already in your collection and in the same collection category as the parent, are they? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Found this thread while searching as i am having the same issue. Unable to add a child to a parent profile. I am able to assign the child and it shows up in the right pane after clicking the "Assign" button. After selecting "Ok" to save the newly assigned child and i go back to view the parent profile i see there is no child assigned. Both the parent and the child are in my collection and in the same category.
I repaired the database to no avail.
What i did to correct the issue was to remove the targeted child profile from my collection and re-add it and then assign it as a child to the parent profile and this time the change took. | | | My collection PHPdvdProfiler Custom edited ( Matrix theme )

No, I want to the list to show all the box set contents if I press "+" . Attached are two screenshots, one showing Superman box set with a "-" beside the title ("+" turns to "-" when showing box set contents in the list), and the other screenshot shows Best of Warner Bros. that contains many films but does not show a "+" beside the title. It is as if Best of Warner Bros. does not contain box set contents. But when I open the profile I see that the box set contents are there.
Update: The "+" comes and goes now. Must be a bug.
FYI, these screenshots show normal correct behavior. The collection list is filtered in your screenshots, by title. The Superman contents still show since they match the filter (title containing 'Sup'), whereas the Best of Warner Bros. contents do not match the filter (Title containing 'Best'). | | | Invelos Software, Inc. | Posted: | | | | Hi,
I just encountered a similar problem:
Upon opening my db today, I found that ALL box-set child profiles are no longer asigned to the parent profiles.
They are still listed under "box set contents", and also show up in the complete listing of all dvds, be it by name or number. But they are no longer connected to their parent profiles.
If I remove the children from the parent profile via profile edit mode, the child disappears from the "assigned" field, but does not reappear in the complete listing fiels either.
I ran db repair twice already.
Maybe someone can tell me how to fix this, as I'd hate to manually re-add all the child profiles in my 2,800 DVD collection. | | | Lutz |
