But can you get 'up and down' 157 times in two minutes and change all the channels available to you??
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

I only have 8 stations (I don't have cable or a satellite dish)! I have always used an antenna. I know I am a dinosaur...my phone is rotary too! And I still listen to vinyl.

No wax cylinders?
Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer.

Granted, it was easier when there were 3 to choose from (and since we were in the middle of nowhere, sometimes only 2).

I just got myself a Harmony 1100.  I have it running my DVD player, receiver, squeezebox, satellite receiver, TV, air conditioner, and 2 ceiling fans/lights.  It works like a champ and took me 30 minutes to set up.  Highly customizable, intuitive, and will run anything thats not blue tooth........id highly recommend it if you are in the market for a remote.

I have the Logitech Harmony 550 (same one as Patsa) to control my TV, projector, receiver, DVD player, DVD recorder, BR player, HD-DVD player, XboX 360 and PS3 (with an IR dongle placed in the PS3 since it is BT by itself)

Activities are a hassle and bigged: they never do what I want. I have every activity double; one for watching on TV and one for watching on the projector. Dumb thing doesn't get it and always fires up both the TV and projector!!

Serves you right for having a projector and a TV in the same room.

My one issue with the remote is that it will never switch from Component 1 (where my Sat Tuners are attached) to HDMI 1 (for my HTPC and Blu-ray/HD DVD player) without getting stuck on the analog tuner. I had to add an input-select button to the activities to finish the change manually. The real problem of course is that my TV does not have discrete input controls so must cycle through all the options one at a time. Every other input change works everytime. Annoying, but only minorly so.

Oh dear, I have that on my LCD TV in my officeroom upstairs. It takes forever to walk to the component 1 input again when the input button is accidentally pushed
It's actually one of the reasons that TV has to go
