Plot:

My Thoughts:
This is an enjoyable movie. It is a bit on the disturbing as well as on the disgusting side. But I think it updated the Vincent price classic well. I can't say that I prefer the original or the remake because even though it has the same basic story — both movies are such a different style from one another that I enjoy each one pretty much the same amount for each of their particular styles. When I want the classic atmosphere of storytelling the Vincent Price version will more then satisfy. But this one is the one I want to see when I want a more disturbed... dark version of the story.

My Thoughts:
Just finished the movie. So glad I popped it in.I really enjoyed every second of it! I am not sure I would call this a horror. More a suspense/thriller. Butit did have some horror aspects I think. I thought I had the ending figured out, but no! This one did fool me.This film is easily worth the time it takes to watch it. I would highly recommend it if you never seen it before!

My Thoughts:
One of my favorite tellings of the story. I really do enjoy this film a lot... though I tend to go a long time in between viewings. Probably due to the length of the film itself. Being up over 2 hours I need to get myself in the mood for a movie of that length. I do find this one to be slow at times... but I think that is to be expected in a film as story driven as this one. But I think most everyone did a good job in this movie. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it. Highly recommended.

My Thoughts:
This one really impressed me. The story is really good and keeps my interest with ease. The cast does a fine job. I felt the atmosphere was on spot. The effects were surprisingly good for such an old film. Definitely recommend this one.

My Thoughts:
This is an anthology film so was looking forward to this one. But really did the first story have to have a shiitake mushroomload of spiders!?! I hate spiders!!! Just seeing those creepy little thing scatter all over the place had chills going up and down my spine. I liked the first, third and fourth story the best. The third story has a good, creepy atmosphere. The fourth story is a little on the wierd side. They decide to play with the style and record this one in black and white. The B&W added to the atmosphere. This is well worth the time put in to watch it.

My Thoughts:
I am sure it is partially nostalgia for me... but this is one of my favorite vampire films. It is one I have seen countless times...one that I never tire of. This movie is the first thing I ever seen Kiefer Sutherland in... and I think he did an awesome job in it. I also think Jason Patric did a great job as Michael. and I definitely couldn't help but to enjoy the Old Fart (Grandpa)... I just get such a kick out of him and all the stuffed animals he gave to Sam. Definitely one I would highly recommend to any horror fan... especially vampire fans. Though I do believe most all horror fans probably seen this one by now!
