Video: Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: DTS-HD Master Audio: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: Mono, Spanish: Dolby Digital: Mono, Commentary: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo Subtitles: Chinese, English, Korean, Spanish, Trivia Stars:Jeff Goldblum as Seth Brundle Geena Davis as Veronica Quaife John Getz (1946) as Stathis Borans Joy Boushel as Tawny Leslie Carlson [Les Carlson] as Dr. Cheevers George Chuvalo as Marky Plot:In this chilling remake of the horror classic, Jeff Goldblum stars as an overly ambitious scientist who accidentally merges with a housefly while conducting a bizarre teleporting experiment. Now his journalist girlfriend (Genna Davis) suddenly finds herself caring for a hideous creature whose insect half gradually begins to take over. Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Gallery Interactive Games Closed Captioned My Thoughts: This is an enjoyable movie. It is a bit on the disturbing as well as on the disgusting side. But I think it updated the Vincent price classic well. I can't say that I prefer the original or the remake because even though it has the same basic story — both movies are such a different style from one another that I enjoy each one pretty much the same amount for each of their particular styles. When I want the classic atmosphere of storytelling the Vincent Price version will more then satisfy. But this one is the one I want to see when I want a more disturbed... dark version of the story. Hart (Screenwriter) Rating: Rated R : Sexuality and Horror Violence Length: 127 Min. Video: Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: PCM: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, French: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Czech: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Hungarian: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Polish: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Russian: Dolby Digital: 4.0, Commentary: Dolby Digital: Dolby Surround Subtitles: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Commentary Stars:Gary Oldman as Dracula Winona Ryder as Mina Murray/Elisabeta Anthony Hopkins as Professor Abraham Van Helsing Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker Richard E. Grant as Dr. Jack Seward Cary Elwes as Lord Arthur Holmwood Plot:Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Academy Award® winner Anthony Hopkins (1991 Best Actor in a Leading Role, The Silence of the Lambs) star in Oscar® winning director Francis Ford Coppola's (1974 Best Director, The Godfather: Part II) visually stunning, passionately seductive version of the classic Dracula legend. In BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, Coppola returns to the original source of the Dracula myth, and from that gothic romance, he creates a modern masterpiece. Gary Oldman's metamorphosis as Dracula – who grows from old to young, from man to beast – is nothing short of amazing. Winona Ryder brings equal intensity to the role of a young beauty who becomes the object of Dracula's devastating desire. Anthony Hopkins co-stars as the famed doctor who dares to believe in Dracula, and then dares to confront him. Opulent, dazzling and utterly irresistible, this is Dracula as you've never seen him. And once you've seen BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA, you'll never forget it. Extras:Scene Access Audio Commentary Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes Featurettes Introduction by Francis Ford Coppola My Thoughts: One of my favorite tellings of the story. I really do enjoy this film a lot... though I tend to go a long time in between viewings. Probably due to the length of the film itself. Being up over 2 hours I need to get myself in the mood for a movie of that length. I do find this one to be slow at times... but I think that is to be expected in a film as story driven as this one. But I think most everyone did a good job in this movie. Definitely worth the time put in to watch it. Highly recommended. My Rating:

Extras:Scene Access Deleted Scenes Featurettes Music Videos Outtakes/Bloopers Digital Copy My Thoughts: Ok... what to say about this one. It definitely had it's moments. There is some good action. And I really liked Kristen Stewart as Sabina. She was my favorite character. That said this film is lacking. There is definitely better action films to see. I have yet seen a Charlie's Angels movie that compares to the 70's series. While I would say the girls have chemestry it is nothing like the ladies in the series. But over all I would say it is worth the time put in to watch it. Just don't go in expecting too much. My Rating:

But really did the first story have to have a shiitake mushroomload of spiders!?! I hate spiders!!! Just seeing those creepy little thing scatter all over the place had chills going up and down my spine. I liked the first, third and fourth story the best. The third story has a good, creepy atmosphere. The fourth story is a little on the wierd side. They decide to play with the style and record this one in black and white. The B&W added to the atmosphere. This is well worth the time put in to watch it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5
