The Boondocks season 1. A buddy of mine let me check his out last week, funniest show since Chappelle quit! Sam Jackson and Charlie Murphy voicing crazy wigger Gulf-vets is beyond priceless.
Then again, BB is expensive for TV sets. Let it simmer and keep getting all your new releases for a month or 2. That's what I'd do, and order Boondocks online for cheap.

I got the LCD and Harmony 1000 at Best Buy, got a new receiver (Yamaha RXV-1800) and the stand at American and the DVD player at Circuit City. Still waiting on my Panamax M5300PM to arrive to finish me off for 2008. Next addition will be high def, but since the war looks to be in it's closing stages with everyone jumping ship to Blue, one more year of waiting won't bother me.

More to the point, I didn't see The Great Raid (789936-710656) in you collection.

I see. However, if your version of Metropolis is part of a 12-title set, chances are that it's not the best release out there. The one I linked to in my original message is quite good, it seems. I happen to own this Region 2 version myself, which also seems to be among the best ones available, from what I've read.

- a Japanese anime SF film is "Ghost in the Shell". Although I personally only know this one (quite good), it seems that meanwhile there's a whole
series that has been broadcasted.

- If you're into a SciFi comedy, try Earth Girls Are Easy with Geena Davis and Jeff Goldblum.

- Perhaps Cypher?

- The original Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a British TV series from the early '80s.

- The original Solaris is a masterpiece by Soviet director Tarkovsky.

- Pi might interest you as well.

- A good version of The Day of the Triffids is this one.

- A bit campy perhaps, but you might also like Barbarella, Queen of the Galaxy.

- Fahrenheit 451?

- If you feel courageous, try Delicatessen.

- Finally an oldy you might like: Invasion of the Body Snatchers from 1956.
The 1978 version seems to be OK too. Just avoid the new version called "The Invasion".

Don't forget to check Eureka's Master of Cinema collection version of Metropolis. It's up there with Kino and several people actually prefer it.
They have been doing an excellent job of old film recovery on the MoC series.

Edit: I think it's R2 only though
