Looks like contributions are down. DVDProfiler reports a socket error, and the "Database" option has disappeared from the website.

Guess it was all too much

I personally have contributed in the last 24 hours about 60 or more DVDs

Gerri, you deserve a rest that's for sure.

So grab a beer, put your feet up and have a rest for the afternoon.

Just remember there's about 10,000 contributions in the queue (so you might want more than 1 beer).

Its not just the database option which has disappeared.

I reported a bug with the 'submitted by' (I think its that - obviously I can't check now) display within the evaluate submission window and that post(thread) seems to have disappeared as well..

A DVD arrived in the post today and it was a weird feeling putting the full UPC in. But an even weirder feeling when Profiler didn't recognize the DVD.

Some of the things are not available right now, because Ken's working on them (according the the lovely Mrs.)

Perhaps he's feeding steroids to the servers.

I just entered the same info into the DB as was in the previous one. So contributed something like 200 profiles in few hours or so, before the servers were too slow to continue

So, DVDP is now definitively dead!? Or should we vote about it first?

Just catching its breath
With every passing hour our solar system comes forty-three thousand miles closer to globular cluster M13 in the constellation Hercules, and still there are some misfits who continue to insist that there is no such thing as progress.
