| Posted: | | | | What do you think - after implementation/enhancement of dvd packages it's now a really voting hell (similar to further implementation of CoO). I got about 120 new entries in a very short time in my database for voting. Now I'm very close to a carpal tunnel syndrome... | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | I don't understand the complaint. This is to be expected if a new data field is introduced.
Personally, I, too, would prefer people to wait until the beta turns into a release version, especially as the changes seem a bit rushed. | | | Matthias |

I think that voting should only be enabled with final releases but not with beta releases! I experienced that some users (maybe in the heat of the battle) where not able to distinguish e.g. between steel book and tin case | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | As I said in another thread. We have a numv=ber of users who like to talk about Common Sense but when it comes to something like this. Instead of displaying Common Sense and doing the job ONCE when all the new data fields are in place, they will HAPPILY do three and four times the work and impose it on everybody else. Bottom line. | Posted: | | | | Maybe we need an option to "skip this item" from voting - like we have in profile updates - and that we could bulk load all those contributions for TV series that are obviously THINPac-only contributions. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. DVD Profiler user since June 15, 2001 |

| Posted: | | | | agreed this is getting a bit crazy, but sometimes things have to get done, also.. you can just not vote for a few days... if its just these changes odds are they will get approved with as little as one yes vote... then evaluate stuff as it comes down the pipe, and if you see anything that someone got fubared, just contribute it back how it was. | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not casting any votes (or submitting case changes) until Ken/Gerri say that it's safe to do so at this time. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

What other new data fields? AIUI (though I haven't seen the post) Ken has said future 3.1.x releases will be adding more new data fields. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means." I find it inconceivable that this would be true |

| Posted: | | | | I find it incomprehensible that some veteran users would not update their database and do a mass upload of crap data in March making a hash out of profiles that had been audited as long as 18 months previously and causing endless hours of work to REcorrect those profiles. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
